A Relevant Curriculum
To ensure PCBS continues to meet the evolving needs of the financial services industry, our governing boards include senior banking leaders, industry consultants, and regulators who provide insight and guidance on curriculum and school operations. Their involvement helps keep our programming timely, relevant, and aligned with the complex challenges facing today’s financial institutions. PCBS courses are taught by accomplished industry and academic leaders who are not only experts in their fields, but also exceptional instructors with a proven record of excellence in the classroom.
We believe there are no shortcuts to a truly meaningful education. Real mastery comes from in-depth learning—not brief seminars. PCBS delivers immersive coursework and valuable face-to-face time with faculty, creating space for students to ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn through collaboration. That experience is further strengthened by the high caliber of professionals who attend PCBS.
All students are required to participate in all three resident sessions to fully benefit from the program’s progressive, cohort-based learning model. While some programs waive entry-level courses for students with MBA degrees, PCBS views an MBA as evidence of prerequisite mastery rather than a substitute for our specialized curriculum. Because our coursework is built specifically for the banking industry, it offers unique, practical value with minimal overlap—even for those who already hold advanced degrees. In fact, more than 20% of PCBS students have MBAs.
At PCBS, the strength of our students and the expertise of our faculty combine to create an educational experience that truly sets us apart.
