A Credit Conversation with Leaders in the Know

April 25th at 9 a.m. PDT

60 minutes

In the credit environment of 2024, we find our financial institutions facing compressed net interest margins, high but softening inflation, low unemployment, lingering supply chain concerns made new by the unexpected collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore, elevated commodity prices, geopolitical tensions, and a looming Presidential election in the fall. All of this can lead to deepening uncertainty in bank credit markets as historical data and trends often do not tell us what to expect — or do they?

Here to provide some clarity and insights are this year’s Chief Credit Officer panelists, John Markovich, Chief Credit Officer of FirstBank, Stella Maddox, Chief Credit Officer of FirstBank Southwest, and Tom Dolan, Chief Credit Officer of Glacier Bancorp. Hosted by PCBS instructor, Harlan Hill, and sponsored by PCBS, this lively panel discussion will deliver an informed view of the credit risks and opportunities facing lending institutions in 2024 and beyond.
