A prominent group of regional bankers and educators from the University of Washington Graduate School of Business Administration created the PCBS in 1938. Since then, the University of Washington Foster School of Business has continued to be a key player in the success of PCBS. Members of UW’s distinguished faculty have contributed to the development and delivery of our outstanding curriculum, and classes have been held each summer for over 80 years in the ivy-covered halls which surround the beautiful campus in Seattle. Students who graduate from PCBS earn a distinguished Executive Leadership Certificate from the prestigious Foster School of Business at the University of Washington as well as credits towards an MBA. Contact Jane Reddie for more details on MBA credits. jane@thepcbs.org

The University of Washington

Founded in 1861, the University of Washington is the oldest state university in the west. On 660 acres of park-like grounds overlooking scenic Lake Washington and magnificent Mt. Rainier, students can also wander through the noteworthy Henry Art Gallery and Burke Museum or Seattle’s renowned Arboretum.

After-class recreation opportunities include tennis, racquetball, baseball, swimming, sailing, canoeing, movie-going, and golfing — all conveniently located on campus or nearby. Seattle’s fascinating communities offer plenty of opportunities for photography, shopping, or simply kicking back and taking in the fresh air and ideal summer weather of the Pacific Northwest.
